Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 8

TEs to Start in Week 8

Browns’ David Njoku (vs. Steelers): With the TEs being very thin this year in fantasy, David Njoku has become the hero we needed (and deserved). Njoku has built a nice rapport with Baker Mayfield, allowing him to get plenty of targets. He should continue his streak of 12 or more points in Week 8. The Pittsburgh Steelers allow the third most points to TEs this year.

Buccaneers’ O.J. Howard (vs. Bengals): O.J. Howard has clearly taken over the Buccaneers starting tight end position. Howard has had 11 or more points in every game he;s played in since Week 2. With him facing the Bengals, he’ll likely keep that streak alive and well. The Bengals have allowed the third most yards (521) to opposing TEs.

TEs to Sit in Week 8

Redskins’ Jordan Reed (vs. Giants): Jordan Reed has been slightly disappointing this season. That could be because he has a QB in Alex Smith who doesn’t push the ball downfield much. Reed has scored nine or fewer points in four of the six games he’s played this season. The New York Giants allow just 10 points per game to opposing TEs.
