The NFL regular season has advanced quickly in a blink of an eye. We are now in Week 9 already, with five to six weeks left until most leagues playoffs.
At this point of the season, playoff seeding is starting to come into fruition in many people’s leagues. Others are clamoring to make a comeback in their respective leagues.
In my leagues I’m on both ends of the spectrum, holding a 8-0 record in one league to being 3-5 in another. Roster moves can still be made that can help many people change the outcome of their seasons.
With the trades this week, we have guys like Demaryius Thomas and Golden Tate changing teams. Thomas now plays for the Houston Texans, while Tate flies with the Philadelphia Eagles now.
Thomas gets a huge boost, with a better QB in Deshaun Watson. I believe Tate’s production will stay around the same as it was for the Detroit Lions.
Of course with them leaving, it opens up opportunities for guys like Courtland Sutton, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones. I like all of these guys in terms of fantasy football, going forward.
Now onto Week 9, I’ll give my picks on who I would start or sit this week. My picks are made based on PPR (points per reception) scoring and can be used in season-long leagues or DFS (daily fantasy sports) leagues.
