Fantasy Football: Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em Recommendations for Week 7

USA TODAY Sports

TEs to Start in Week 7

Browns’ David Njoku (vs. Buccaneers): With TEs being a limited commodity, David Njoku is becoming one of the more consistent ones. Since Mayfield has started (Week 4) at QB, Njoku has totaled 41.6 fantasy points. His success should continue this week against the Buccaneers defense who’s allowed 20.5 points per game to TEs.

Bengals’ C.J.Uzomah (vs. Chiefs): The game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Chiefs will likely be a shootout. I want all pieces I can for this game, including C.J. Uzomah. With Tyler Eifert falling to injury again, Uzomah should have a large role in this offense. The Chiefs have allowed 550 yards to TEs this year (the most in the NFL).

TEs to Sit in Week 7

49ers’ George Kittle (vs. Rams): It’s hard to say to bench any starting TE because most of them are inconsistent. I’d temper expectations for George Kittle this week. The Los Angeles Rams have yet to allow a receiving touchdown to a TE. So to play Kittle, you’re relying on him to get a good amount of receptions, which is tough for a TE.

Any Ravens TE (vs. Saints): It’s hard to gauge which TE will be featured more in the Baltimore Ravens offense. They have Mark Andrews, Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle and Hayden Hurst all be featured in their offense. The bad news for all of them is, the New Orleans Saints have allowed just 19 receptions and no touchdowns to TEs (both the least in the NFL).
