While Jones got his expected increased workload in 2019, Williams did not go away. He had 107 carries for 460 yards and one touchdown, while catching 39 of 45 targets for 253 yards and five touchdowns.
In full PPR scoring, Williams was RB34 for the season. After a streak of four straight games with a receiving touchdown, he had at least 10 carries in the next three games. In six of those seven games, he delivered double-digit PPR fantasy points. For the season he had eight games with double-digit points in full PPR (out of 14 games played).
Williams is not a great player. But he siphons off just enough production to a thorn in the side of Jones’ fantasy owners.
