Instead of taking a wide receiver from one of the deepest classes at the position we’ve ever seen, the Packers took Dillon in the second round. Even with Jones entering the final year of his contract, there has to be a plan to use Dillon as a rookie.

Dillon led the ACC in rushing in 2019 (1,685 yards), on a conference-leading 318 carries. In three seasons at Boston College, he topped 1,500 rushing yards twice with touchdown totals that went 14, 10 and 14 (38 in 35 games).

Dillon is simply a threat to Jones’ carry volume, perhaps especially around the goal line. A lower carry share=lower production
