There are plenty of NFL pundits out there who have the Denver Broncos as their dark horse contender heading into 2020, and for good reason.
The team finished 4-1 down the stretch with rookie quarterback Drew Lock leading the way. In just five starts, Lock threw seven touchdowns to just three interceptions. He completed 64.1% of his passes and only got sacked five times behind a subpar offensive line.
His mobility outside of the pocket really shined in the Broncos’ Shanahan-esque offensive attack. Lock’s arm strength was also evident on nearly every pass he lofted down field.
There’s no doubt he has all the tools necessary to be a solid starting signal caller in this league. From a fantasy perspective, some of the added weapons around Lock should boost his draft stock a bit.
But, there’s still a high chance he falls in fantasy drafts because there’s just much tape on him yet. If that’s the case in your fantasy draft, he could end up being a massive steal for your team.
