There has been a ton of outrage towards the Indianapolis Colts following their embarrassing Week 18 and season-ending loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Frank Reich and company saw their year come to an end against a bad, 2-14 team. It simply isn’t a game that should have been lost and the outrage should be accepted by the franchise.

Indianapolis is headed into what will be a very long and painful offseason. Having to watch the playoffs from the couch will not sit well with the players. Fans can only hope that they learn from this experience and come back better next year.

Former Colts’ star offensive lineman Jeff Saturday even trashed his former team’s awful loss to the Jaguars.

“Absolute TRASH! … My wife, she had to step in front of the TV … I almost snatched that thing up!”

Saturday was part of the dominant Colts era led by Peyton Manning. He is a well-respected former player and fans love him in Indianapolis. Obviously, he is still a big fan of the team and the loss isn’t sitting well with him either.

Carson Wentz will be on the hot seat this offseason and some are calling for the Colts to fire Reich as head coach. There will likely be quite a few roster moves coming this offseason as well. Indianapolis needs to be aggressive this offseason and they need to find a way to fix the issues with their roster.

A loss like the one the Colts had can change a franchise. It can either make them more hungry and better, or it can lead to players finding their way out of town. Hopefully, the first option is the one that the Colts choose.

Expect to hear quite a few rumors and rumblings come out of Indianapolis as the offseason gets underway. The Colts can’t afford to stand pat and it will be interesting to see what moves they end up making.
