2. A Strong Las Vegas Offensive Line
The Raiders’ offensive line is kind of an anomaly. Despite their starting guard Richie Incognito being placed on IR, despite them missing their star tackle Trent Brown with a nagging injury– they’ve still had one of the best units in the NFL.
At least, they’re one of the best units at keeping their quarterback upright. Through four games this season, Derek Carr has been sacked just seven times. A big part of that success is due to the offensive line, another part of it is the quick-pass nature of the Raiders’ offense, but either way– it could potentially disrupt the Chiefs’ defense.
Kansas City’s defensive group is one that thrives on causing pressure and making quarterbacks uncomfortable. But for as talented as Chris Jones and Frank Clark are at working their way into the backfield, they might have a tough time bringing down Carr and doing much to the Raiders behind the line of scrimmage.
