When speaking about the best running backs in the NFL, one name that gets mentioned early in the conversation is Saquon Barkley. And for good reason. In his first two seasons with the New York Giants, Barkley has proven that he’s one of the most dynamic playmakers that the NFL has to offer.

To begin his career in 2018, all Barkley did was gain 2,028 yards from scrimmage and 15 total touchdowns as a rookie. As a result, he would be named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year in his inaugural season in the NFL.

Then, a high ankle sprain in his second season with the Giants would prevent Barkley from producing similar numbers as his rookie season. Despite missing three games a season ago, the dual-threat back still finished with a modest 1,441 scrimmage yards and eight total touchdowns.

Coming off of a season where he dealt with an ankle ailment, Barkley is poised to have a stellar third season with the Giants. In light of that, let’s take a look at two massive bold predictions that Barkley could achieve in 2020.
