Giants: 3 early goals for running back Saquon Barkley in 2020

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

16+ total touchdowns

Again, every time Barkley touches the ball, there’s always the thought that he’ll be able to put up six points on any given play. In his first season with the Giants, he was able to score a total of 15 touchdowns.

Just a season ago, even though he was sidelined for a few games, Barkley still finished with a respectable eight touchdowns. Barring another injury, the former No. 2 pick should be able to record the same number — or even more — touchdowns than he did as a rookie, in the upcoming season.

Without a doubt, the Giants understand that getting Barkley involved in the offense early and often sets them up for success. In the event that Barkley avoids injuries in 2020, he could finish with a career-high in touchdowns for the Giants.
