Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
Currently the Giants have a promising duo in Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton. What they need now is a bonafide No. 1 receiver to help mentor the two, in addition to giving Daniel Jones another option.
Keenan Allen is one of the more underrated wide receivers in the league. He’s been a Pro Bowler the last three seasons, yet he fails to ever be talked about when debating top wide receivers. Injuries hurt him in his earlier years, but he’s had three healthy seasons in Los Angeles.
In 2019, Allen caught for 1,199 yards and six touchdowns on 104 receptions. He would come in and be Jones’ go-to option immediately. It’s another case where his price tag isn’t going to be cheap, but he’s a consistent as they come at wide receiver.
With other wide receivers available in 2021 like Chris Godwin, Kenny Golladay and Allen Robinson, Allen may once again be getting looked over by teams in need of a receiver. If that’s the case, the Giants shouldn’t hesitate to jump on the chance to bring him to the Big Apple.
