No. 2: Odell Beckham Jr. Looked Healthy
A good sign for the Giants was Beckham looked more than healthy. All Giants were interested in seeing how good their All-Pro wide receiver would look after suffering an injury in Week 5 last season, after he failed to log a snap in preseason.
Giants fans can stop wondering, because Beckham looked like he was in mid-season form. Beckham finished the game with 11 receptions for 111 yards. He probably could have had a touchdown or two along with those stats if Manning was able to hit him on a couple of missed throws.
Beckham did all of this while being covered the majority of the time by arguably the best cornerback in the NFL, Jalen Ramsey.
The Giants will need OBJ to return to his elite form for their passing offense to be effective. Besides Beckham, no one really stepped up in the passing game. Sterling Shepard was the second leading receiver with five receptions for 48 yards. The Giants will need more than that out of their other pass catchers alongside Beckham.
OBJ will want to keep it rolling on prime-time football, next Sunday night.
