He Will Record a 1,000-Yard Receiving Season
What’s crazy about predicting that a player with Randall Cobb’s talent will rack up 1,000 receiving yards? He has done so just once in his career. Back in the 2014 season with the Packers, Cobb totaled 1,287 yards, which is the only year he has gone over the 1,000-yard mark in a single season.
After the disappointing year that the Packers had a season ago, Cobb is going to come out looking to prove himself. He wants to prove that he can be one of Rodgers’ go-to guys. If he can’t, Gutekunst has made it clear that he has no qualms with releasing fan-favorite players.
Cobb has the talent to be a 1,000-yard receiver each and every season. He has top-notch speed, excellent route-running ability, and an above average pair of hands.
Green Bay needs Cobb to step up more this season than they have in recent years. Without Nelson, it will be up to Cobb and Adams to give Rodgers the weapons needed to compete for a championship.
