Green Bay drafted Oren Burks in the 2018 NFL Draft with the goal of developing him into a starter over the next season or two. Unfortunately, a season-ending torn ACL for Jake Ryan has forced Burks into the starting lineup as a rookie.

Burks has shown quite a few flashes of big potential already, but still needs to do some work before the regular season begins.

It has been a long time since the Packers had athleticism at the linebacker position like the kind that Burks brings to the field. He may be raw, but the future couldn’t be brighter for Green Bay at linebacker.
