It was an extremely unusual offseason for the Green Bay Packers. It came after an NFC Championship Game appearance in 2019. The Packers are hoping for the same success come 2020.

Aaron Rodgers will return under center for Green Bay. They used their first-round pick on Jordan Love and second-round pick on running back A.J. Dillon. The Packers did not add a wide receiver in the draft despite their glaring need.

The team did sign Devin Funchess to a one-year deal, but he has decided to opt-out of the upcoming season. Not using a draft selection to add a receiver prospect became all the more troubling.

The Packers’ defense improved in 2019. If the team is going to be a championship contender, it will have to continue to improve. This goes for the offense as well. This is Matt LaFleur’s second offseason as head coach in Green Bay and he will have to come up with a plan using the weapons he has.

With that, there are four bold predictions for that said unit during the 2020 season.
