This point reared it’s ugly head against Minnesota when Green Bay allowed the Vikings the make up a 22 point deficit in the fourth quarter to ultimately force the game into a tie. Simple mental mistakes and communication errors, coupled with drops and penalties have plagued this Packers team early into the 2018 season.

It’s not just the third string tight-ends either. Everybody has had drops to start the season. Not only that, but these drops are occurring in critical situations. Uncharacteristically, the pressure is getting to these Packers receivers.

Rodgers’ has been hobbled since the second quarter of week 1 and can’t do everything himself. He can merely put his teammates in positions to succeed. They need to capitalize. The penalties and drops need to disappear. The mental and communication errors need to be resolved. Otherwise, 2018 could end up being a long one for the Packers and their fans.
