Green Bay Packers: 5 Reasons They Will Still Make The Playoffs

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Aaron Rodgers

Let’s just go ahead and get this obvious point out of the way. Whenever a team has Aaron Rodgers, they are never out of the playoff hunt until they are mathematically eliminated.

Even with an injured knee that he suffered in Week 1, Rodgers has been playing at an insanely high level. It may not be up to his standards, but he is still better than most quarterbacks in the National Football League.

Throughout the nine games the Packers have played this season, Rodgers has completed 61.1 percent of his pass attempts for 2,741 yards, 17 touchdowns, and just one interceptions. He has also been able to run for 145 yards on his injured leg.

Rodgers may not be 100 percent healthy, but he is without question still one of the best to ever play the quarterback position and his presence gives the Packers a chance.
