The Green Bay Packers had an incredible season and made it to the playoffs despite trading seasoned quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. However, it appears that the Packers are still feeling the hurt from their Divisional Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

There has long been a rivalry between the 49ers and the Packers. They have had a number of noteworthy matchups over the years, particularly during the playoffs. In recent memory, though, the 49ers have prevailed over the Packers in five consecutive postseason games between the two storied franchises.

San Francisco’s victory over Green Bay in the NFC Divisional Round in January gave the Niners the right to continue boasting. Because of this, Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon has fired off a warning to his team’s rivals ahead of their Week 12 regular-season encounter.

In an interview with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show last week, Nixon expressed his desire to play the 49ers again when they visit Lambeau Field during the regular season.

“I’m sick of hearing ’em. They gotta come to Lambeau field and see us,” Nixon said.

When the 49ers and Packers face each other in the league in Week 12, it promises to be a thrilling matchup between two clubs that have teams capable of winning a Super Bowl in 2024.

It goes without saying that the Packers will seek their revenge when they play San Francisco.

After coming dangerously close to making it to the NFC Championship Game in 2023, the Packers are also eyeing a potential Super Bowl trip. They may have to face the Niners—who have advanced to the conference championship game four out of the past five occasions—if they hope to accomplish that.

Keisean Nixon also talked about “annoying” Deebo Samuel

Nixon also mockingly referred to San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel as “annoying” during his Wednesday Up & Down segment.

Nixon claimed that throughout the summer, he had been “hearing it” from cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and the Niners wide receiver.

“Deebo is annoying,” Nixon said, smiling. “He likes FaceTime, and he likes to talk crazy in your face.”

Nixon added that he and Samuel are close despite the remark, thus there is absolutely no animosity between the two players.

Nixon and Samuel were South Carolina teammates in college from 2017 to 2018, and they have been good friends ever since. Even though they are cordial, Nixon is still hungry to beat his friend’s team when they square up in Week 12 of the 2024 regular season.
