Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers entered the fourth quarter of their Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints trailing 17-0. Fifteen minutes later, they emerged from Lambeau Field with an 18-17 victory.

It represented one of the first hallmark moments for Love, who struggled for the first three quarters and then put together a terrific final frame.

After the game, Love said he was motivated by all of the criticism he had taken in the early stages of the season.

“Yeah, man, it’s out there for sure,” Love said, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “You know, something that I’ve been hearing a lot of that stuff since I got drafted. It’s one of those things that it’s kind of in one ear, out the other . . . because I know the position I’m in. All quarterbacks in the NFL are in a pretty scrutinized position. You know, you can’t let that stuff affect you. I just stay true to who I am and confident in myself, confident in my team. I don’t get you know flustered by anything I hear or anything that’s out there because, you know, who are they to tell me who I am as a player?”

Love went 22-for-44 with 259 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the win.

Through three games overall, Love has totaled 655 yards, seven touchdowns and one pick while completing 53.1 percent of his throws and posting a passer rating of 94.7.

The 24-year-old is in his first year as the Packers’ full-time starter following the departure of Aaron Rodgers this past offseason. Last week, Jordan Love was on the other end of a comeback, as Green Bay blew a double-digit lead in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Now, he knows what it feels like to be on the right side.

The Packers will look to improve to 3-1 when they host the Detroit Lions on Thursday night.
