Round 3, Pick 94: Jordyn Brooks, Linebacker, Texas Tech

With this selection, the Packers finally get the help they need at the linebacker position. Granted, they miss out on talents like Patrick Queen and Kenneth Murray in the first round, but Brooks is a nice consolation prize.

Last season with the Red Raiders, Brooks racked up 108 total tackles to go along with three sacks and a forced fumble. Green Bay has been searching for more athleticism at linebacker and Brooks could help provide that.

At 6-foot-0 and 240 pounds, Brooks is a hard hitter who would be a nice addition immediately for the Packers. His hard-nosed mentality fits Mike Pettine’s scheme and he could slide in as a starter right away. Getting him with the No. 94 overall pick would be a huge steal.
