DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Receiver
DeAndre Hopkins had a solid game in the Texans’ 27-20 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 1, but the return of Will Fuller V even seemed to help his production as well.
After hauling in eight receptions for 78 yards against the Patriots, Hopkins joined Fuller in surpassing the 100-yard mark in Week 2. He made six catches for 110 yards against the Titans, including a 28-yard TD grab in the final minute of the second quarter.
Hopkins averaged 1,173 yards per season over his first five years in the NFL, including three 1,000-yard campaigns. And if his play over the first two weeks is any indication, he’s likely on track for number four.
It’s also important to note that Hopkins has done most of that damage without Watson. So just imagine what he’s capable of doing with his fellow Clemson alumnus healthy for a full season.
Add in Fuller, and it’s clear this offense has a ton of potential.
