Better Wide Receiver Play Behind Davante Adams
Davante Adams is one of the top wideouts in the NFL and there are very few who would disagree with that statement. The Packers rely on him heavily, but they need better play behind him.
Heading into this offseason, the Packers were expected to make a big move at the wide receiver position. When everything was said and done, however, Green Bay ended up signing Devin Funchess. It wasn’t a big move, but it is one that could add needed depth.
The Packers are banking on the development of their young wide receivers. Guys like Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling need to step up. Equanimeous St. Brown will also be back after missing the entire 2019 season due to injury.
Green Bay may need more help, but they want to be sure before making a big move. They need better play behind Adams and the guys mentioned above need to make that happen.
