Darius Leonard

Next up on the list is yet another rookie, this time on the defensive side of the football. Darius Leonard was absolutely dominant for the Colts and was the leader of their success against the Redskins’ offense.

Leonard ended up compiling 18 total tackles, with 15 of them being solo and one of them for a loss. He also recorded a sack and a defended pass in the game. Those numbers show exactly why Ballard and the Colts are so high on him being the future leader of their defense.

Watching Leonard continue to develop is going to be entertaining for the Colts, to say the least. He may be good already, but there is still plenty more potential for him to work his way into.
