Indianapolis Colts: 3 Best Performances from Week 2 vs. Redskins

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

T.Y. Hilton

Switching away from the rookie side of things, veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton belongs on this list as well. Even though Luck had a rough game, Hilton was still able to break out with a big performance.

Hilton caught seven passes for 83 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins. There was no one on their defense that could shut him down. Whether the catches came across the field or down the field, Hilton found ways to make plays for his quarterback.

Reich’s offense seems to fit Hilton’s skill-set well. He is no longer just a deep threat in the offense and is actually able to make plays in the open field once again. Expect to see Hilton continue coming through with games like this one throughout the rest of the season.
