Chris Ballard and the Indianapolis Colts have shown a lot of promise this season over the last few weeks. After their huge Week 10 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Colts now sit at 4-5 on the season.
New head coach Frank Reich has received some criticism this season, but as the year has moved on, fans are beginning to come around to him. It took some time for his system to truly set in with the Colts.
Andrew Luck has also proven that he is back to being a superstar quarterback. He has quieted all of the doubters that he had ahead of the 2018 season. Indianapolis is in great hands moving forward at the quarterback position and could even get something of value by trading backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett in the future.
Defensively, the Colts have to be feeling good about the young players they have put together. Darius Leonard has been one of the top linebackers in the entire NFL, while Anthony Walker, Quincy Wilson, Malik Hooker, Tyquan Lewis, and many more players look primed to be very good in the future.
Indianapolis has a lot of money to spend this coming offseason as well. Ballard has not been all that interested in making free agency splashes, but that may change this offseason.
All of that being said, which three players should be potential free agency targets for the Colts in 2019?

I know that everyone is excited about Bell being a FA, but I don’t think that Indy needs him at this point. I rather see Mack, Hines and Wilkins evolve. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense pick this last 2 this year.
Besides Tate and Breeland, wich I couldn’t agree more, I rather see Ballard picking a DE on the FA. Last sunday we saw Bortles taking all the time in the world to pass and because of that Luck almost didn’t hit the field on 2nd half (beside de drops). We have nothing to rush Bortles or any other QB with an average/good OL.
Demarcus Lawrence, Jadeveon Clowney and Dante Fowler Jr. are gonna hit FA next offseason. I know that they’ll probably be tagged, but, pass rush is, for me, priority number 1 on next offseason.
