Contract season
Rogers went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft and was signed by the Colts to a three-year contract. Now, after two seasons with limited reps, Rogers is entering a contract year and potentially his biggest workload yet.
As mentioned previously, Rogers has a chance to earn the number two receiver spot. If he needed any extra motivation he got it, as he’s entering the final year of his contract before becoming a restricted free agent in 2019.
Rogers has a chance to seize a significant role in the Colts offense while getting a nice payday, so this season should be a good one for him.
If he produces, there’s no reason why the Colts wouldn’t bring him back as he already has chemistry with Andrew Luck.
