Indianapolis Colts: Studs and Duds From Preseason Week 2

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

Stud: Hassan Ridgeway

Ridgeway followed up his two-sack performance against the Seahawks with two more sacks against the Ravens. He finished the game with five total tackles and three tackles for loss.

Ridgeway is entering a crucial season in Indianapolis, as he hasn’t produced as much as some hoped through his first two NFL seasons.

It appears as if Ridgeway is ready to take the next step in his career as he’s accumulated four sacks and eight total tackles through just two preseason games. The Colts desperately need some pass rush this season and Ridgeway could very well provide some for the Colts up the middle.

Heading into the preseason, it seemed as if Ridgeway was on the roster bubble, but just two weeks later he is in prime position for a starting spot along the defensive line. He’ll be a guy to watch during the Colts final preseason games.
