Indianapolis Colts: Studs and Duds From Preseason Week 2

Dud: Penalties

Many Colts fans were hoping the penalties left when Chuck Pagano left, but that wasn’t the case on Monday. The Colts ended with 13 penalties for 129 yards.

“Obviously, not our best outing,” head coach Frank Reich said after the game.

It’s important that Reich provides some discipline and cleans the penalties up before Week 1 against the Bengals. If Colts fans know anything, it’s that penalties can ruin your chances of winning.

“Good news is we can correct those things,” Reich said referring to some of the Colts woes, including the 13 penalties.

Heading into Saturday’s matchup against the 49ers, it’ll be interesting to see if the Colts can cut down on the penalties.
