Jacksonville Jaguars: 3 Players to Watch in Preseason Week 2

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Shane Wynn, Wide Receiver

The diminutive third-year man out of Indiana is clawing for the sixth wide receiver spot. He recorded three catches for 39 yards against the Saints, and has continuously made dynamic plays during training camp. Fellow bubble man Rashad Green muffed a punt and only managed 13 yards receiving. After spending time on IR and the practice squad the last two seasons, Wynn is looking to make the active roster for Jacksonville.

If Rashad Green was able to prove himself on special teams, the low receiving total may be forgiven. Wynn should now be considered the favorite for the sixth receiver spot, provided he continue to make plays. The former Hoosier also has value on special teams as a punt returner, further improving his chances of making this roster.
