Jaguars: 3 early bold predictions for QB Gardner Minshew in 2020

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Minshew Will Lead The Jaguars To The Playoffs

Finally, and most importantly, Gardner Minshew’s personal performance will help lead the Jaguars back to the NFL playoffs. Just a few years after making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, the Jaguars will get back to the postseason.

Minshew is just one piece of the puzzle for the Jaguars. Jacksonville has done an impressive job of building young talent around him.

Doug Marrone and company are distraction free entering the 2020 season. Jalen Ramsey’s situation took a toll on the team in 2019, but he is long gone. They have a ton of talent and are headed in the right direction.

Assuming Minshew takes the step that he is more than capable of taking, the Jaguars are going to be a tough team to beat. They may not end up winning the AFC South division title, but they will sneak in as a Wild Card team.
