The Jacksonville Jaguars have the best defensive line and running game in the NFL. This is a warm-weather team with a January mentality for 2018.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the most talented teams in the NFL.

With a dominant defense, a stout running game and proven weapons on both sides of the ball, here are five reasons why the Jaguars will be representing the AFC in the Super Bowl once the 2018 season winds down.

No. 1: Blake Bortles Isn’t as Bad as You Think

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles is extremely underrated, especially in the postseason.

In the 2017 playoffs, Bortles’ completion percentage rose every game during the Jaguars’ postseason run. For instance, he increased his completion percentage by 10.4 percent from the 45-42 divisional round win over the Pittsburgh Steelers to the AFC title game, a 24-20 loss to the New England Patriots.

He generally makes good decisions, at least based on last year’s film. It’s so cliche to hate on him and his vitriol is unwarranted.
