Kansas City Chiefs: 3 Best Performances from Week 4 Win vs. Broncos

Travis Kelce, Tight End

The play that stood out for tight end Travis Kelce was his TD reception during the Chiefs’ fourth-quarter comeback. But he totaled seven catches for 78 yards on the night, so his overall output deserves to be mentioned as well.

Kelce has been a huge weapon for Kansas City throughout his entire six-year NFL career, but he has really blossomed over the past three weeks. In that span, the 6-foot-5, 260-pounder has averaged 7.3 catches and 100.3 receiving yards per contest.

The Chiefs also have a dynamic wide receiver in Tyreek Hill who is a threat to make big plays each and every week. But it’s nice that they have such a talented security blanket in Kelce, especially for a young quarterback like Patrick Mahomes.

If Kelce continues to put up the numbers he’s been posting in the early portion of the season, he could very well find himself in his fourth Pro Bowl at season’s end. That is, if Kansas City isn’t playing in that other Bowl.
