Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs put forth one of their strongest performances of the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 31-17. Once again, pop singer Taylor Swift was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium, and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—who appears to be dating Swift—had a huge performance, logging 12 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Kelce seems to play better whenever Swift is at his games, and head coach Andy Reid has taken notice.

“She can stay around all she wants,” Reid said when asked about Swift’s presence at Kansas City’s contests, via Adam Teicher of ESPN.

Funny enough, during the game, CBS Sports posted a graphic that showed Kelce’s receiving yards average more than doubles when Taylor Swift is in attendance.

On the season overall, Kelce has hauled in 48 receptions for 525 yards and four touchdowns and seems well on his way to his ninth consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl.

The 34-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Cincinnati, was selected by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

By his third season, Kelce was a Pro Bowler after catching 72 passes for 875 yards and five scores.

Since 2016, Kelce has logged over 1,000 yards each season, and in 2020, he set the tight end single-season record with 1,416 receiving yards.

Kelce has also earned First-Team All-Pro honors four times. Most importantly, he has helped lead Kansas City to a pair of Super Bowl victories and three Super Bowl appearances overall.

The Chiefs improved to 6-1 with their Week 7 win, which also marked their sixth straight triumph. They will look to keep rolling when they head on the road to take on the Denver Broncos next weekend. We’ll see if Swift makes the trip to the Mile High City.
