This was a trap game for the Chiefs. In week ten the Chiefs play in the most anticipated regular season game of the year versus the Rams. So, the Chiefs could have easily overlooked a Cardinals team that entered the game 2-6.

Entering the game Kansas City were double-digit betting favorites. Despite the final score, this game was close throughout. Credit to head coach Andy Reid for keeping his team focused, even though they didn’t dominate like they were projected to.

Patrick Mahomes had under 300 yards passing for the first time since week one. Meanwhile, Kareem Hunt was held under 100 yards rushing. The Chiefs found a different way to win this game, besides scoring a ton of points. The defense, which has been criticized all season, held Arizona to 14 points. While also forcing two interceptions of Josh Rosen and a fumble of Rosen which the Chiefs didn’t recover.
