Robert Woods 7 Receptions, 109 Yards, 1 Rush, 12 Yards
Robert Woods might be one of the most underrated WRs in the NFL today.
With a team that includes Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp, Woods is still able to be a key contributor. He is very talented in every aspect of being a WR.
I remember when some Rams fans were questioning whether or not Woods was overpaid when the Rams signed him a couple of years ago. Those opinions have evaporated rather quickly.
Coming into Week 6, Kupp and Cooks were coming out of concussion protocol. Kupp would get hurt again in the second quarter, getting carted off with a knee injury.
He would miraculously come back in the second half, even if he was held out of most of the plays on offense.
Woods stepped up though, with the other two guys having below average games. He would reel in seven catches for 109 yards through the air. He would also run it once for 12 yards.
That makes it five straight games this season that Woods has gone over 80 yards receiving. This is the first time a Rams player has done so in a season, since 2000 (Isaac Bruce with 7).
Prior to @robertwoods’ current run, the last @RamsNFL WR with 80+ receiving yards in 5 straight games within a season was @IsaacBruce80 (7 in 2000; also 9 straight in 1995).

The only active player with more consecutive 80+ yard receiving games is Adam Thielen. That’s pretty impressive for a guy who isn’t widely considered the best WR for the Rams.
With how talented Woods is, there’s no doubt he’ll maintain his high-level of play for the Rams.
