Los Angeles Rams: 3 Best Individual Performances in Week 8 Win vs. Packers

Jared Goff: 19-35, 295 Yards, 3 Touchdowns

Jared Goff continues to build on what was already an impressive year. Goff threw for 295 yards and three scores, giving him 17 touchdown passes this year.

One of the biggest reasons why this Rams offense has been able to continue their dominance, is the efficiency of Goff. Like McVay has said before, Goff is basically an extension of the coaching staff with how far he has developed within the offense.

You can visibly see how comfortable and knowledgeable he is with the Rams offensive system. It shows when he is constantly making quick adjustments and reads before the snap, putting the Rams in better positions to succeed.

Against the Packers yesterday, he began the game very slow. It was nice to see him bounce back in a big way, after throwing for just 31 yards in the first quarter.

One of the biggest stats for Goff yesterday, was that he had another game with zero interceptions. It’s his fourth game of the season with no turnovers.

In a game against a formidable opponent like the Packers, one turnover can cost you the game. It did for the Packers, as it prevented Rodgers from getting a chance to seize the game for the Packers.
