The Los Angeles Rams felt defeat for the first time this season, in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. Their record now sits at 8-1, still good enough for first place in the NFC West.
The Rams will face the second place team in the NFC West in Week 10, in the Seattle Seahawks. They’ve already faced the Seahawks this year, defeating them 33-31 in Week 5.
That game was held in Seattle, with the Rams squeaking out a close victory. This game will be played in Los Angeles, where the Rams are undefeated this year.
The Seahawks have improved recently, winning two of their last three games. Like the Rams, they lost in Week 9, but against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Rams will hope to have the same results as the other Los Angeles team on Sunday. I expect this Rams team to come into this game focused and angry, after suffering their first loss last week.
Like most of the players and coaching staff have reiterated, last week’s loss can be used as a learning experience going forward.
Sometimes teams like the Rams, who seemed untouchable, need to be humbled at some point. Now for the Rams, they need to fix their glaring issues and get back on track.
That begins in Week 10 against the Seahawks, where they will need to execute a few key things to come out victorious.
