Los Angeles Rams: 3 Keys to Victory in Week 7 vs. 49ers

Get Jared Goff Back Into Rhythm Early

The last two weeks have been a bit of a struggle for Jared Goff. Against the Seahawks and Broncos, he combined for 522 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

He also completed 37 of 60 pass attempts (62% completion percentage), which has brought his completion percentage down to a 69.1% on the season.

Whether it was the weather or not, Goff had his worst games of the season so far in Weeks 5 and 6.

I expect him to bounce back in a big way this week though. The 49ers are currently the 26th ranked passing defense, and have allowed 14 passing touchdowns (third most in the NFL).

That bodes well for Goff, who’d love to get back on track in Week 7. Cooper Kupp is out with injury, but the Rams still possess a plethora of weapons.

With Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods still suiting up at wide receiver, the Rams still should see plenty of success though the air. Weather shouldn’t be an issue in this game, as they play in nice San Francisco weather.

If the Rams hope to improve to 7-0 for the first time since 1985, they’ll need Goff to get back into the rhythm he was in Weeks 1-4.
