The Los Angeles Rams surprised a lot of people with their performance during the 2023 season. Despite moving on from several veteran players in the offseason, they found a lot of success on the field, going 10-7.
A big reason for that success was how productive the offense was. In 2022, the only way the Rams moved the ball on offense was if Matthew Stafford was able to get the ball into the hands of star wide receiver Cooper Kupp.
In 2023, other players stepped up to help take pressure off of Kupp and become a more well-rounded offense. Running back Kyren Williams and wide receiver Puka Nacua had monster seasons, cementing their status as centerpieces of this offense moving forward.

It was a relief for Sean McVay to have another wide receiver to rely on in the passing game other than Kupp. But, he received contributions beyond even that. The Rams were three and sometimes even four wide receivers deep throughout the season.
Another player who stepped up was veteran Demarcus Robinson. Robinson ended the season with 26 receptions for 371 yards and four touchdowns. He had to wait for his chance to make an impact, as he didn’t receive a target until Week 9, but quickly became a big part of the offense.
He caught a touchdown in four straight games at one point, finishing the season as their third receiver behind Kupp and Nacua. It was a role he thrived in and one that the Rams are rewarding him for.
According to ESPN, the Rams and Robinson have agreed to a one-year contract that will keep him in Los Angeles for at least one more season. The terms of the contract were not revealed, but this is a good deal for the team.

Robinson proved capable of stepping up when needed, answering the call late in the season when players were in and out of the lineup. He brings championship experience with him from his time with the Kansas City Chiefs and has proven to be a consistent complementary player throughout his career.
With Robinson back in the fold, the Rams should once again have an explosive passing attack. Stafford has three reliable targets to work with at wide receiver and a strong rushing attack to be led by Williams once again.
