Running Back
Grade: A
I really wanted to give an A+ here, but there is room to improve for Todd Gurley (if that is possible).
Gurley has started off the year fast, rushing for 338 yards on 79 carries (4.3 yards per carry) and four touchdowns. The yards per carry is an area, that I believe, can improve.
That’s not a knock on Gurley, or me nitpicking. I just believe Gurley is just getting started on what is going to become a very special year for the Rams RB.
Gurley is also still a key piece in the Rams aerial attack, catching 12 passes for 155 yards and one score so far. It will be important for the Rams to get him even more involved going forward.
We saw the type of mismatch he can create, catching a touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings, with linebacker Anthony Barr covering him.

If a LB ever ends up on Gurley, you might as well raise the white flag. The Vikings found this out the hard way.
Gurley may have gotten an A grade through four weeks, but he’ll likely end the year as an A+.
