Los Angeles Rams: Full Report-Card Grades for Weeks 1 through 4

Offensive Line

Grade: A+

The group that isn’t given enough credit for the Rams this year, is the offensive line. That’s how it usually goes in the NFL though, unfortunately.

Through four weeks, the offensive line has allowed just five sacks. That is tied for the least allowed in the NFL.

Ironically, they’re tied with the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the only other undefeated team left in the NFL.

When you keep your QB clean and give him time, there’s a good chance your offense can put up monstrous numbers like the Rams have.

This group is led by veterans like Andrew Whitworth, Rodger Saffold and John Sullivan. Whitworth at 36 years old, is still one of the best left tackles in the league. He is four years older than his head coach.

Here is a clip of Whitworth getting a “twofer” as he called it.

Austin Blythe and Rob Havenstein round out the offensive line. Blythe has really impressed, stepping in during Jamon Brown‘s suspension. He played so well, he has maintained the starting spot, leaving Brown to watch on the sideline.

This group has played at a very high level, allowing them to receive an A+ so far.
