Los Angeles Rams: Top 5 Individual Performances From Week 7 Win vs. 49ers

Todd Gurley: 15 Carries, 63 Yards, 2 Touchdowns, 4 Receptions, 23 Yards, 1 Touchdown

From a yardage standpoint, it wasn’t the best day from Todd Gurley. The thing is, he just continues to find himself in the end zone.

With two scores on the ground in Week 7, Gurley now has 11 rushing touchdowns this season. That leads the NFL and also keeps him on pace to possibly surpass LaDainian Tomlinson‘s rushing touchdown record of 28.

Gurley doesn’t just do damage on the ground, he is a dangerous threat in the passing game as well. He’s added on three scores in that department as well.

Through seven weeks, Gurley leads the NFL in rushing yards (686), rushing touchdowns (11), scrimmage yards (936) and scrimmage touchdowns (14).

If he isn’t in the MVP discussion, who should be? Gurley is having a historic season up to this point, just like previous Rams RBs in their illustrious history.

Teams continue to game plan to slow down Gurley, but with no fruitful results. This was arguably his worst performance of the year, where he still came away with three touchdowns.

Gurley tied the NFL record for most touchdowns through seven games with this score right here.

Gurley will be the focal point for the Rams offense in Week 8, when they take on the Packers at home.
