Miami Dolphins: 3-round post-Super Bowl mock draft

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Round 1, Pick 26 – D’Andre Swift, Running Back, Georgia

Let’s keep it on the offensive side of the football for all three first-round picks that the Dolphins have. They will have added a quarterback and an offensive lineman at this point, so why not go out and bring in a starting running back?

D’Andre Swift has been rising up draft boards quickly. In 2019 with the Bulldogs, he carried the football 196 times for 1,218 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught 24 passes for 216 yards and another score.

Those numbers don’t jump off the chart, but he did average 6.2 yards per carry. Swift has the potential to become a workhorse running back and the Dolphins need to take him if they have the opportunity.
