Dallas Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons was one of the players who partook in the Pro Bowl activities last week in Orlando, Florida. Parsons’ NFC team, led by head coach Eli Manning, narrowly defeated the AFC team, led by Peyton Manning, 64-59 for their second consecutive victory.

The NFC team was dominant in the skills competitions, which gave them the edge in the overall score as the AFC team found a lot of success in the flag football game. One of the skill competitions was playing the Madden NFL video game, which Parsons took part in.

He played with Los Angeles Rams’ star rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua against Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins and David Njoku of the Cleveland Browns. The NFC team was victorious, adding three points to their score with the Madden win.

But, the most intriguing thing to come out of that competition wasn’t the outcome of the competition. Instead, it was Parsons seemingly throwing some shade at the Cowboys for not selecting Nacua in the draft.

NFL NEWS & RUMORS: Puka Nacua, Micah Parsons, Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys Updates

Nacua was the No. 177 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft as every team in the NFL passed over him at least once. The Rams eventually pulled the trigger on him in the fifth round and are certainly happy about doing that as he has already turned into one of the best players in the league at his position.

Nacua put together a record-setting rookie season, which likely had plenty of franchises around the NFL asking themselves how they missed on that guy. But, Parsons vocalized it during the Pro Bowl festivities, which caught the attention of people.

It could have certainly been said in a joking manner, but there has already been some speculation of his long-term future with the Cowboys this offseason. Any comments he makes, especially ones disparaging the franchise, are going to be closely examined.
