Stefon Diggs, Wide Receiver

It was a long night for the Vikings’ offense on Sunday night. However, wide receiver Stefon Diggs had an incredible game. The fourth-year pro caught 13 passes on 18 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown.

It was the fourth time this season that Diggs has caught at least 10 passes. Additionally, it was the fourth time he has surpassed the century mark in receiving yards.

Fellow Vikings receiver Adam Thielen has been one of the league’s premier wideouts this season. Thus far in 2018, the 28-year-old has 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and seven TDs.

But Diggs remains one of the NFL’s best pass catchers as well. He is sixth in the NFL in receptions (71) and 21st in receiving yards (713), while his five TD catches are tied for 16th. In addition, his 103 targets are tied for seventh in the league.

Diggs is still dealing with a rib injury that caused him to miss the previous game, but that didn’t slow him down against the Bears. He still looked like an elite receiver and given that the Vikings finished with just 22 rushing yards, he played a huge part in keeping them within striking distance throughout the night.
