Eric Kendricks wasn’t the only defensive player who starred for the Vikings on Sunday night. Fourth-year safety Anthony Harris also had a big game for Minnesota.

In addition to four tackles (three solo), Harris also had two interceptions and three passes defensed. The 27-year-old now has three picks in his last five games after recording none in the first 40 games of his NFL career.

Harris’ three interceptions this season are tied for sixth in the league. He’s also already set a career-high in passes defensed with five in nine games this year.

The first pick for Harris on Sunday night came with the Vikings trailing 3-0 early in the second quarter. Meanwhile, his second interception came with Minnesota down 14-0 late in the third quarter. The Vikings ended up punting after his first interception, but he returned the second one for 33 yards to set up a field goal for their first points of the night.

It was a career night for Harris, and like Kendricks, Minnesota certainly hopes it’s a sign of things to come.
