Dalvin Cook Against the Packers’ Defensive Front

First and foremost, the Vikings are going to need a big game from Dalvin Cook. Kirk Cousins will have the football in his hands a lot, but to beat the Packers, Minnesota will need a strong running game.

Cook had a good performance against the 49ers in Week 1. He carried the football 16 times for 40 yards, which wasn’t amazing, but he caught six passes for 55 yards as well. Those numbers show just why the Vikings view Cook as their main offensive X-Factor this season.

Green Bay has a solid defensive front with Mike Daniels, Kenny Clark, and Muhammad Wilkerson leading the way.

Minnesota will need to get Cook going early and often this week. If he can have a good week, the Vikings will be in a good position to move to 2-0 on the season.
