North Carolina Tar Heels
The start of the Mack Brown era has provided the North Carolina Tar Heels with real reason for optimism. The program managed to appear in its first bowl game since the 2016 season and appear primed to follow it up with a strong 2020 campaign.
North Carolina’s offense could put together truly special results next season after the air-raid attack showed real potential last season. They already were elite in the ACC in total yardage (474.0 per game) while setting a new single-season school in passing touchdowns (38).
The talent the Tar Heels have in the backfield should not be taken lightly either between Michael Carter and Javonte Williams. It will be challenging for opposing teams to be able to try containing a productive running game when coupled with the team’s proficient passing.
There will be a few major chances for the Tar Heels to show off any improvement they may have made early next season. They are set to start the season against Auburn and also have a matchup with UCF on the schedule as a non-conference opponent, too.
