NCAA Football: 5 wide receivers for NFL teams to watch from the SEC in 2020

The upcoming season will feature plenty of talented prospects from the SEC across the board that teams should certainly keep an eye on for the 2021 NFL Draft. One position that stands out, in particular, is wide receiver.

There was no shortage of receiver talent from the SEC that was selected in this year’s NFL Draft. Between Alabama’s standout duo of Henry Ruggs III (Las Vegas Raiders) and Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos) being the first players this position off the board, in general, it set the tone.

It did not take long for an additional SEC receiver to be taken after Ruggs III and Jeudy went off the board. The Minnesota Vikings used one of their two first-round selections on Justin Jefferson out of LSU to help replace Stefon Diggs, who they traded earlier in the offseason.

The SEC wasn’t finished with having wide receivers being taken after the opening round either. The Raiders doubled down on this spot by selecting Bryan Edwards in the third-round. Meanwhile, Jauan Jennings went in the seventh round to the San Francisco 49ers.

With that being said, here are five wide receivers for NFL teams to watch from the SEC in 2020.
