The Patriots Are Still the Team to Beat

The Chiefs are still near the top of the NFL and the Los Angeles Rams remain unbeaten at 6-0. The Philadelphia Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions who beat the Patriots in February. But it’s New England that is the team to beat again in 2018.

That’s just the way things have come to be year in and year out as Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and Co. have built a dynasty. Love them or hate them, until one or both of those guys is gone, the Patriots are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

Despite a slow start to the season for the second straight year, New England seems to be turning things around once again. Last year the Patriots made it all the way to the Super Bowl and nearly won it for the sixth time since 2002.

No one knows what the rest of the 2018 season holds, but believe me when I say that the Patriots will be right in the thick of things by season’s end. As a matter of fact, after a shaky start, they already are.
